Our spinal column, or backbone, may seem tough and resilient. However, the intricacies and delicacies of the spine can create serious, debilitating pain due to injury or illness.

Recognizing the need for specialized diagnostic spinal care, Diagnostic Imaging Specialists, PA offers three Physicians' Spine Center locations. Working closely with referring physicians, our highly-trained, specialized radiologists provide diagnostic evaluation and pre-operative planning for the back and spinal cord. Our services help treat spinal disorders and pain-related conditions.

Key to the successful treatment of a back injury or ailment is the ability to accurately reach specific sites in the spine for injections. A High-resolution fluoroscopy system, combined with the use of thin 25 and 22 guage needles, allows our radiologists to provide accurate needle placement.

As a benefit, patients requiring a consult will receive their injection immediately after, rather than having to wait for a separate appointment. Following each procedure, patients are given aftercare instruction and receive a call the next business day to check on their progress.
